A handsome late Georgian mahogany bow front chest of drawers with beautiful proportions and rich patina. This piece features two short over three long drawers, each with original brass oval handles and cockbeaded edges. The drawer linings are pine and all run smoothly. The top has an attractive contrasting crossbanded edge and gentle signs of age, including surface marks and a rich, characterful finish.
A decorative scalloped apron and splayed bracket feet complete the classic Georgian silhouette.

Structurally sound and ready for use. As expected with age, there are old knocks, historical repairs, a few minor splits to veneer, and general wear – all adding to its timeless character.
