A wonderfully characterful reclaimed school workbench, salvaged from an old educational setting. This piece shows the unmistakable signs of generations of use - scars, knocks, tool marks, and rich patina.

Constructed from thick, solid timber planks with a sturdy trestle-style base, it was originally made to survive daily punishment from kids, tools, and time. Ideal as a rustic kitchen prep table, potting bench, studio work table, or statement console.

If you’re thinking of using it as a dining table, it would need to be raised in height. As it stands, it’s perfect for relaxed, informal or working-height use.

Full of honest, historic wear.

The surface shows heavy patination, knocks, scratches, old nail holes, and surface irregularities consistent with long-term school use. There are historic signs of woodworm, now fully inactive - we treat all our furniture as standard for peace of mind.
