The most unusual piece!
A patented metamorphic oak dining table/settee, c.1928
the panelled table top supported by reeded and square section end supports with shaped platform feet and joined by stretchers, converting to a small settee, with padded seat and backrest, bearing a label “SETTEE TABLE, BRITISH & FOREIGN PATENTS” the sofa returns to a table with two swift movements and some side clips on the underside of the table top, which hold it in place.
Condition report- The upholstery and wood appear unaltered so, new upholstery would be needed to bring this back to it's original glory. The table bares some marks, commensurate with age and use.
