This is a large oak mule chest from the 18th century. The front of the chest has carved panels and it features a lift-up lid and two drawers. This chest offers ample storage space and has a charming rustic appearance. It has a strong presence and a beautiful color and patina.
It’s old, knarly, full of historic life worn into it.. It’s had some historical repairs over the years, but above all that it’s a very handsome piece.
Condition report- in used condition, commensurate with age and use. Plenty of signs of wear and tear.
