A late 17th century English oak cabinet with four drawers arranged in a coffer-front style. Richly patinated oak, pegged joinery, moulded drawer fronts and decorative carved detail. A compact and versatile piece, ideal today repurposed as a low side cabinet or TV stand.
Condition:
Over 300 years old with expected age-related wear. Various historic repairs to drawers and mouldings. Some old worm and surface losses, particularly to the cornice and base (all treated as a precaution). Different knobs added across the years. Structurally sound and drawers run with the honesty of age. Characterful piece with centuries of history.
