An Edwardian beech and cane elbow chair with shaped cane back, cane seat, curved arms and turned front supports. The chair has a good decorative shape with a warm polished beech frame and traditional woven cane detail.
It comes with a loose pale pink seat cushion, making it suitable as a bedroom chair, occasional chair, dressing table chair or decorative accent chair.
A smart piece with a classic country house, coastal or New England look.
Condition
Good overall condition with age-related wear to the beech frame, including minor marks, knocks and surface wear.
The cane is generally in good order, with one small visible area of damage to the back cane as shown in the close up photo. The loose cushion has some light marks / discolouration in places.
Structurally appears usable and decorative, but as with all cane furniture, care should be taken with regular use.
