A superb Victorian carved oak dining table, originally a wind-out extending table and now fixed at its current size.
The solid oak top is beautifully grained with rich figuring and natural colour variation throughout. The carved border framing the top is particularly eye-catching - bold, hand-carved detail that gives the table real depth and character.
The base is darker in tone and heavily carved, raised on original castors. The legs are wonderfully decorative with strong Victorian Gothic / Jacobean revival influence, giving this piece real presence without being oversized.
Originally a wind-out table, it has since been fixed in this size, making it structurally solid and practical for everyday use.
A compact yet substantial table - ideal for a kitchen, smaller dining space or as a striking centre table.
