The Bramah lock plate is a detail of note, as Joseph Bramah was one of London’s most respected engineers and locksmiths of the Georgian period, supplying fittings only to the finest cabinetmakers of the time.
Condition:
In good antique condition with a lovely aged patina. Minor age-related marks, faint scratches and signs of use consistent with its age, adding to its authentic charm. The drawers run smoothly and are clean inside. Lock plate stamped J. Bramah – 14 Piccadilly, though no key is present.
