A handsome late Georgian mahogany bureau, c.1800–1820. Classic design with four graduated drawers fitted with brass oval plate handles and a fall front that opens to reveal an arrangement of small drawers and pigeonholes. Raised on shaped bracket feet.
Condition:
This bureau has age-related wear consistent with over 200 years of use. Losses and knocks to the feet, fading and scratches to the finish, ring marks to the fall front, and general surface wear. Structurally solid, drawers run well. Please see photos for detail.
