A classic antique mahogany chest of drawers with elegant proportions and traditional brass swan-neck handles.
The chest features a beautifully oak lined carcass with figured mahogany top with a decorative inlaid border and a practical drawer layout of two short drawers over two full-width drawers. The brass handles and escutcheons complement the rich mahogany colour and give the piece a timeless Georgian-inspired look.
The top appears to have been refinished at some point, which has left it slightly brighter in colour than the base, but it shows lovely grain and presents very well.
A versatile piece that works well in bedrooms, hallways, or living spaces where a compact chest with good storage is needed.

Good antique condition overall with age-related wear.
The top looks to have been refinished previously which has given it a slightly brighter appearance than the base. There are marks, scuffs and signs of use throughout, including some wear to the lower corners and edges as shown in the photographs.
The drawers run well and the interiors are clean with typical signs of age and use.
A solid and usable piece with plenty of character.
