A lovely antique Victorian mahogany extending dining table, dating from the 19th century. A particularly versatile design featuring two drop leaves together with two removable extension leaves, allowing the table to be configured in several different sizes depending on the space or number of guests. Made in mahogany with a beautifully figured top, rounded moulded edges and elegant turned legs standing on original-style brass castors. When fully extended it creates a generous dining table, while the drop leaves allow it to be reduced considerably when not required. A very attractive and practical antique table with a lovely warm colour and plenty of character. Condition Report Good antique condition with age-related marks, small knocks and variations to the finish as shown. There is some surface wear and marking to the top consistent with its age and use. The separate leaves naturally show some variation in colour and finish. Structurally a good usable table. Dimensions Fully extended: L164.5 × W121 × H74 cm No extension leaves, flaps up: L134 × W121 × H74 cm 2 extension leaves, flaps down: L141.5 × W121 × H74 cm |
