A handsome Edwardian walnut dressing chest by Maple & Co, dating to circa 1905–1915.
This is a beautifully proportioned piece with classic early 20th-century styling - clean lines, refined drawer fronts, original brass handles and a striking turned spindle mirror frame. The quality is evident throughout, from the dovetailed drawers to the solid stance and elegant detailing.
The configuration offers two short drawers over two long graduating drawers, providing generous storage while maintaining balanced proportions. The original adjustable mirror is framed by turned uprights and decorative spindle gallery, giving it real presence without feeling overly ornate.
The walnut has a warm, rich tone with attractive grain across the top and drawer fronts. It works equally well in a traditional bedroom, townhouse interior or paired with more contemporary styling for contrast.

Condition
Structurally solid and sturdy.
The walnut top shows age-related surface marks and light wear consistent with use (clearly shown in photographs). Minor internal marks to drawer bases from historic use. Drawers run well. Mirror plate appears original with light age character.
Overall very good, honest antique condition.
