A vintage Ercol Windsor rocking chair, made in England, with the original Ercol label to the rear.

Classic bow-back design with shaped arms, spindle back, shaped elm seat and beech frame. A well-known Ercol design, practical as a fireside chair, bedroom chair, nursing chair or occasional lounge chair.

The chair has a warm medium-brown finish with attractive grain to the seat and a simple, timeless mid-century look.

Condition

Good vintage condition with age-related wear.

There are surface marks, scuffs and finish wear, particularly to the arms, seat edge and rocker bases. Some rubbing and small chips are visible to the ends of the rockers. General wear throughout, consistent with age and use. Structurally appears solid and usable.
