A superb mid-20th century Georgian Revival mahogany sideboard, stamped ROGER BACON inside the cupboard doors. Roger Bacon was a noted dealer and collector of fine furniture, known for selecting only the highest quality pieces. This sideboard was either part of his personal collection or possibly commissioned to his specifications.
The design is in the Georgian manner, with a long rectangular top above four central drawers flanked by two panelled cupboards, raised on shaped bracket feet. Finished with brass handles and a rich, polished mahogany grain.
A statement piece, suitable for use as a dining room server, cabinet, or console.

• Excellent quality, solid and sturdy.
• General age-related marks and wear, including surface scratches and ring marks to the top (see photos).
• Keys: No working locks. Two keys are supplied to act as handles only – they do not lock the unit. The left cupboard has a manual latch internally.
