A wonderfully characterful late Victorian pine farmhouse kitchen table, dating from around 1880–1900.
Made from solid pine, the table has a substantial scrubbed top with softly rounded edges and a beautifully mellow, timeworn surface. Years of use have left the top with an abundance of authentic marks, knocks and variations in tone, giving it exactly the sort of character increasingly sought after in original antique pine.
The table stands on four substantial ring-turned legs, with a deep plain frieze and a useful single drawer to one side, finished with a dark wooden knob handle.
Its pale scrubbed finish makes it particularly easy to place within both traditional and contemporary interiors. At just 120cm long, it is also a very practical size for a smaller kitchen or dining space while comfortably functioning as a four-seater dining table.
A great piece of honest country furniture that hasn’t been over-restored - the old working surface and accumulated wear are very much part of its appeal.

Good solid antique condition with extensive age-related wear throughout, including knocks, scratches, old marks, staining and variations in colour consistent with its age and previous use.
There is evidence of historical woodworm. We treat everything item as standard regardless.
The top retains a heavily characterful, timeworn surface with numerous old marks and imperfections. Please study the photographs as these form an important part of the condition report.
