A handsome pair of 1920s French Art Deco armchairs, with beautifully shaped walnut frames and lovely proportions.
Each chair features a gently curved upholstered back, distinctive scroll arms with exposed walnut detailing, tapered legs and decorative carved detailing running along the lower rails. The warm walnut contrasts beautifully with the muted sage green upholstery.
Generously proportioned and particularly attractive from every angle, these would work brilliantly as a pair of lounge, fireside or occasional chairs.
Condition Report
Good/used condition with age-related wear, marks and knocks to the walnut frames as expected. There are some historic marks visible within the timber.
The existing sage green upholstery shows signs of use and marking. Why the upholstery is in good condition the arms would benefit a clean.
