Retro Ercol 459 Elm Coffee Table with Built-In Magazine Rack
Vintage Ercol model 459 coffee table, with a stripped solid elm top showing attractive natural grain and finished in a hard wax oil. The original base has been left untouched, giving a good contrast between the lighter top and darker frame. A well-proportioned mid century piece with shaped ends, splayed legs and the original slatted magazine rack beneath.
A practical size for use as a coffee table, sofa table or occasional table.
Condition
Good overall vintage condition.
The top has been stripped and refinished, now showing the elm grain clearly.
The base remains in original finish with age-related wear, marks and rubbing to the legs/frame as shown.
Solid and usable.
