A substantial rustic oak refectory table with loads of character and a strong farmhouse look. This is a good, solid piece with a plank top, chunky trestle end supports and a stretcher base, giving it that old-school country house feel buyers are always after.
The warm oak tone and heavily timeworn surface make it a great fit for farmhouse, cottage, barn conversion or more modern rustic interiors. It works well as a large dining table, kitchen table or statement everyday family table.
A big selling point is that it comes apart into 4 sections, which makes access, transport and delivery far more manageable than one fixed beast of a table.
Condition
Good solid rustic condition with plenty of age-related wear throughout. The top has scuffs, scratches, marks, dents, wear to the finish and general surface imperfections consistent with use and age. The base also shows knocks, wear and character marks. All of that adds to the look rather than hurting it, but it is definitely a lived-in, honest rustic table rather than a polished showroom piece. This is an extremely heavy item.
