A smart set of late Victorian to early Edwardian dining chairs, dating from around 1890–1910.
The chairs feature elegant shaped backs with decorative detailing and are raised on turned legs, all finished in a warm, time-worn timber tone. The frames are well made and nicely proportioned, with the sort of craftsmanship you expect from the period.
They are upholstered in a soft green patterned fabric which suits the chairs well and remains comfortable and usable. Colour variation across the frames is evident and entirely consistent with age, long-term use, and historic exposure to light — a common and accepted feature in genuine antique chair sets.
Ideal for a traditional dining room, country house interior, or as characterful occasional seating. Honest antiques with presence, not reproductions.
