A vintage Ercol No. 155 oak refectory dining table, dating to the mid-20th century, featuring a solid plank top with gently rounded corners, raised on a traditional shaped trestle base with a central stretcher.
First illustrated in Ercol’s 1956 catalogue, the No. 155 was designed to seat six people and features the distinctive shaped supports and substantial construction associated with Ercol’s traditional furniture.
The tabletop has been stripped back to reveal the natural wood grain, creating a lovely contrast against the original darker stained base.
A characterful and practical dining table, perfect for a country kitchen, farmhouse dining room or traditional interior.
Condition Report
Good vintage condition with age-related marks, scratches and general signs of use. The tabletop has been stripped, retaining natural grain variations, knots and some surface marks. The darker stained trestle base displays minor wear consistent with age and use. Please refer to the photographs.
