A classic Ercol refectory dining table in beautifully grained dark elm, standing on solid trestle ends with the signature shaped supports and stretcher base.
This is one of those pieces that just works. Traditional lines, honest construction, and that unmistakable Ercol timber character. The top shows superb flowing grain throughout, finished in a rich, deep tone that gives it a slightly more contemporary edge than the usual lighter examples.
The refectory base gives plenty of leg room and makes it practical for everyday family use — no awkward corner legs to work around. Comfortably seats 4–6.
A timeless dining table that will slot into a period interior just as easily as a modern setting needing warmth and character.

Condition
Structurally solid and sturdy.
The top has been refinished at some stage and presents well, with a good even sheen. Light age-related surface marks and minor wear consistent with use. A couple of small historic filled marks to the top (visible in photographs).
Base is strong with no movement.
Overall, a clean and honest example in good vintage condition.
