A superb set of three vintage industrial stools, each of graduated height and constructed from a heavy tubular steel frame with original aged painted finish.
The frames have an unusual ladder-style construction with numerous horizontal cross rails and broad circular feet. Each is topped with a generously sized upholstered seat in warm ochre/brown tones, giving them a fantastic authentic industrial look.
The three different heights make the set particularly interesting. Originally likely to have been used within a school, gymnasium or other institutional environment, they would now make brilliant statement seating for a kitchen, bar, café, restaurant, shop or commercial interior.
They have been left exactly as we found them, retaining the knocks, worn paint, surface rust, marks and wonderfully aged upholstery accumulated through years of use. Definitely not reproductions pretending to look old — these have done the hard work themselves.
Condition Report:
Good solid vintage condition with substantial age-related wear throughout. The frames have scratches and patination. Upholstery differs slightly between the stools and has staining, fading, marks, scratches and general wear, with some deterioration around the edges. Please study all photographs carefully as these form an important part of the condition report.
